²² Then Saul himself went to Ramah, and he arrived at the large well that is in Secu. He asked, “Where are Samuel and David?”

Someone^[a] replied, “They’re at Naioth in Ramah.” ²³ Saul went to Naioth in Ramah, and the Spirit of God came on him also. He continued in prophetic ecstasy^[b] until he came to Naioth in Ramah. ²⁴ He also removed his clothes and was caught up in prophetic ecstasy^[c] right in front of Samuel! He fell down naked and remained there all that day and all night. That is why people say,^[d] “Is Saul also among the prophets?”
